Google Apps Review

BizMania on Google Apps. For the past 6 months I have been using Google Apps as my main email host. great application to use and the best thing about it is that you don’t need to worry about having to go to you laptop or office for you to log on and check your email. Everything is safely tucked in extremely safe servers that belong to one the biggest companies in the world, Google!
There is a lot to Google Apps other than email alone. The calender is great and easy to use and can be integrated to your email page for quick view on your appointments. The documents are also very helpful, although I’m mostly using them for document storage, there is more to them. What they also have is intranet site app that can be used for collaboration among your colleagues at work and for project management. I personally didn’t find to useful as I’m a one man band.
So what are the pros and cons of using Google Apps for my BizMania?
Pros:
- Easy access from any internet enabled computer or even mobile.
- Amazing spam protection programme.
- Clean and simple use with a lot of storage never having to delete any emails.
- Best of all it is absolutely FREE!!!
Cons:
- Labeling: Folder organization is differnet to Outlook or thunderbird and will take someĀ time (took me a week), but once you get the hang of it Labeling is actually easy to use.
- The Documents application doesn’t have much tools in them and you can’t add any to them. Maybe with their new O.S. things will change. Fingers crossed!
- Sites are, in my case useless. Easy to design but found no good reason to use them.
For more information on it you can search online for Google Apps. Once you are on the site you can check out their introduction video and if you dig deeper you can see the different packages they have.

Thank you for the review. It is so helpful since I am considering some Google applications too.
